Requesting a new debit card from SBI

    ఎస్బిఐ డెబిట్ కార్డు పోగొట్టుకున్న కస్టమర్లకు స్టేట్ బ్యాంక్ ఆఫ్ ఇండియా(ఎస్బీఐ) డెబిట్ కార్డును బ్లాక్ చేయడం,అలాగే కొత్త డెబిట్ కార్డుని పొందే విధానాన్ని సులభతరం చేసింది. ఎస్బీఐ తమ కస్టమర్లు డెబిట్ కార్డు పోతే బ్లాక్ చేసి,తిరిగి మరల పొందవచ్చు. అంతే కాకుండా పోగొట్టుకున్న డెబిట్ కార్డును ఇంటరాక్టివ్ వాయిస్ రెస్పాన్స్ (ఐవీఆర్) ద్వారా కూడా బ్లాక్ చేయవచ్చు. ఆన్లైన్ ద్వారా కూడా అప్లై చేయవచ్చు.

    In cases where an SBI customer’s debit card is stolen or misplaced, the first plan of action should be to block the card. After the card has been successfully blocked, the customer should request the issuance of a new card. A request for a new card can be made in one of the four ways listed below:

Internet Banking:

• Login to the SBI internet banking Official website www.onlinesbi.com.
• Click on the tab titled ‘e-Services’.
• Select the option titled ‘ATM card services’.
• From the list of options provided, click on the option titled ‘Request ATM/debit card’.
• The request will have to be authenticated with internet banking credentials and OTP sent to the registered mobile number.

Once the request has been successfully placed, the customer is notified of the duration that it would take for the card to be delivered. The steps mentioned above are also applicable when making a request for a new debit card on the SBI mobile banking app.
